I am a catalog junkie. My poor letter carrier probably needs a dump truck at Christmastime (which starts now in my retail home). Anyway, I usually get around to looking at them all, even the ones that I know will have nothing for me to buy. I recently got a catalog on that nature, one I put aside because I am completely happy with what I have on my walls. The catalog from art.com is eye candy for someone needing a creativity jumpstart. I thumbed through it, completely inspired by the designs and the colors.
One artist in particular jumped off the pages and screamed for me to see more of his stuff. Jim Dine knows how to use color. I used his Hearts art to create a card, just a shadow of his creation, but I love it nontheless.

I have a dozen pages in the catalog dog-eared for future inspiration. Starting with art from Karen Dupre. I can't wait to play more!
While I was looking for Jim Dine art, I discovered this artist is now on exhibit at the National Gallery of Art. I will be making a day trip in to DC to see it.

You are amazing Jen with what you can do! I am behind on your blog but it was so much fun catching up on it!!! I am just giggling over Jacob getting chased by girls, it's just the beginning! :)

FABULOUS!! I love what you did and am intrigued by what inspires you. And I do love that catalog.
My mailbox has been overflowing with catalogs too. Plan to spend the morning in my PJs reading them!
