Anyone have a stamp?

A postage stamp I mean - not a rubber stamp! I get together each month with a Stamp Club at Chris's house and we play with new stamps and new techniques. Here are several from the past few months. All of the stamps are from Stampin' Up!

Paper Piecing - awwwww, this takes me back to the old days in scrapping with Bumper Crops and other neat patterns. This is so much easier, since you have the stamped image to cut. All we did was stamp two images of the monkey and cut up the yellow one to layer.

Stamping on Patterned Paper - Sometimes everyone forgets you can stamp on something other than cardstock! Easy Peasy, right? We added glitter for the puddle and a clear medium for the rain. And hello? Why did I put raindrops UNDER the umbrella?

Ink Thumping (that word still makes me giggle) - Basically you tap markers on an inked image and then stamp the image. See this article for more details. Obviously the card was sitting around long enough on my desk to have something spilled on the butterfly. That is not part of the technique, I promise.

Faux Tile Background - This technique used a scoring blade and ink and is very cool! I didn't spend enough time making sure that my diamonds were straight up and down.

I just bought that bird stamp set Jen! I might have to copy your idea, you are the most talented person when it comes to stamping, use those again and let me copy you :)
