One of the things I love most about Pennsylvania is the beauty of the countryside. There is something about a fenceline and a country road, or a barn next to a pasture full of sheep, that always makes me nostalgic for the past. I love going out on a clear night, when the night sky is so full of stars that it looks like a mirror has shattered in the sky. In the country, it gets so dark that you can barely see your hand in front of your face. I miss that when I am in the lights of the suburbs.
This road is the road between my brother's and parent's houses, called Watering Trough Road because of the spring on it where people get water. It is the same road in the picture with the dogs and Louise. We think they look like the Verizon commerical - more bars in more places.

Even prettier today. That road is impassable now - we are snowed in! The little dogs would not be visible!
Beautiful pictures Jen! Maybe you should send the dog one in to Verizon!
HAAAAA! More bars in more places!!!!
You crack me up.
LOVE THOSE PHOTOS!!!!
Oooh love the photos - the contrast of the red barn in the fence shot is fantastic. I too love the country - the night sky is so perfect in the outback without the city lights to dull it's beauty.
Wow. these photos are amazing. I can see why you love it there.
