Frugality vs. The Enabler

I am frugal by nature. I know those of you that know me are shaking your heads in denial, especially those that have seen me drop $100 at a scrapbook store and not blink an eye. But it is true. Apparently, there is just enough Scottish in my ancestry to force me into eating leftovers, saving scraps, and only buying the stuff I desperately want need.

So, I have been resisted the need for idea books, the 52 Scrapbooking Challenges in particular. But last weekend at the crop, Amy had it with her and I took a peek. I caved yesterday and purchased it and I am so glad that I did. You see, I have been in a scrapbooking rut and it took going completely outside my style to find some inspiration.

Supplies: Rub ons - Carolees Creations
Font: 2Peas Handwritten and 2ps Open Spaces

Thanks for the idea book recommendation. It looks great. I constantly use the BH sketch book when I'm stuck and most of the time my page does not look like the sketch!
