Holidays 2006

I am going to try something a little different this year. I am going to scrap my Christmas photos as fast as I possibly can instead of waiting three years and then not remembering all of the details of the festivities. No lofty goal of a page a day, but maybe two or three a week. This is my first page - and the photo I used in my holiday cards this year! Speaking of cards - mine are all done and in the mail. Whew! The last few years have been a mad rush to the post office on December 24th. It is nice to know that this year they will all be received BEFORE Christmas.

Since I was at Paper Source today to pick up a few more supplies to finish cards, I decided to buy this great mug for myself.

And finally, three nights this week I found myself in DC for social engagements and I am now determined to get back there with my camera. The beauty of our nation's capital is never more obvious than at Christmastime. There were snow flurries as I drove past the Capitol Building and the tree in front stood shining with red, white and blue lights. With Christmas music playing in my CD player, I had to blink back a few tears. I hope you have the chance to experience DC at Christmas for yourself.

Sounds amazing!

Your layout is PRECIOUS, and that new mug ROCKS. Thanks for the reminder to do my holiday pages NOW.

Argh, my cards still need to be filled out. I hope you meet your goal of scrapping all your Christmas layouts straight away :) I've still got Christmas pics from Jade's 1st Christmas that need to be scrapped LOL (she's now 16!!!!)

I love the photo you used on your cards :)

What a cute mug, I love it.

If you do get some pics, please post them. I would love to see what you described. I have never been to DC.

I have only been to D.C. once and it was around Christmas time. It was beautiful. I would love to go back some time.
