May is a Beast.

May is my busy month at work. Beastly busy. So busy that I find it hard to even stay awake at night to catch up on my personal life. So, if any of my friends are feeling neglected - I am sorry. Really, you wouldn't want to be around me right now. I am beastly.

And speaking of beasts, I did this layout a few nights ago, using an older picture of Jacob that I just love. The journaling reads "after cookies iced in black frosting, he can finally become a fierce beast. Who wants to tell him he is too cute to be a beast?"

Supplies:
Gen X Coaster letters
Jenni Bowlin Paper
Melissa Frances Rub-ons (wings)
Ribbon
Century Gothic font

And on the flip side of the beast is the beauty. This is my friend Jennifer's little girl Alexis - I took this one day when she came over to play. It was wonderful to have someone who didn't run away or make faces when the camera was around.

May 1 brings lots of new things at inspirational crafting sites. Be sure to check out the new Half Page Maps by Becky. I can't wait to pull out my 6 x 12 album and get started!

HAAAAA!!! THE BEASTIE BOYS!

You always have the BEST music on your blog. I made a "she's crafy" shirt a la beastie boys for NSD :) Love your layout and your little beastie.

What a sweet little girl. She looks like quite the poser. And the layout is hysterical. He is much too cute.
