You know what I will miss most about Jacob growing up? When he stops calling us Mommy and Daddy. A few weeks ago, he called me Mom and it almost made me cry. I am so sappy. Anyway, for now he still calls Dave his Daddy, is more than happy to cuddle on the couch, and still says I Love You everynight. He may not realize it, but Dave is his best friend. I am truly blessed to have married a man that is such a good father and a good friend.

What a gorgeous photo of Dave and Jacob :) I know what you mean about the mum and dad thing. Jade went through that but now, at nearly 17, she mainly calls me mama and we still do get the occasional mummy and daddy (esp. when she wants something LOL)
