Pink and Red

The first two weeks of the color class from Big Picture Scrapbooking have passed and I am already a week behind. *sigh* Not all is lost though, because I have been opening my eyes up to color, and seeing it everywhere. Usually when I shop, I go straight to earth tones. This past week, I have been veering toward brighter colors, jewel tones and even more vibrant shades. Really, the limits to my shopping are now boundless.

Dave is quaking in fear. So is my checkbook.

Here are my pink and red layouts for Carol's class. They are a 12 x 6 format, which I love! On the pink one, I used white Tintz to tone down the pinks, and make them all match better - a terrific suggestion from Carol. (she used Gesso)

And since I had some pink scraps on my table, I made a thank you card.

Unfortunately, today is the last day of my vacation - so it is back to work tomorrow.
