Completely Happy

For some reason, I am just happy today. Maybe it is because I had such a good time yesterday at the Get Croppin crop, seeing friends and crafting. Maybe it is because I blissfully slept in until 10:30 today. Or maybe it is because it is such a beautiful fall day outside. Or just maybe it is because the EAGLES have finally come out with some new music. All I know is that I am a ball of energy and am ready to tackle grocery shopping and laundry. How is that for exciting?

I got so much done yesterday, which is unusual because most of the time I go to these crops and socialize the first 10 hours and then scrap the last 2 or 3 hours. But yesterday, I made seven projects which I hope to scan and photo later today. There was alot of talk about the big February event, with Stacy Julian, Kristina Contes, Shimelle Lane, Donna Downey, Margie Romney Aslett, Emily Adams, and Tia Bennett. Doesn't that line up make your heart just start beating faster and your mouth start to drool? I will be there... and so will Amy because that lucky girl won the grand prize (the full weekend) yesterday, which I won last year :)

Oh, and before I forget about this, I have to tell you what a proud parenthood moment I had last week. We have this agreement with Jacob that if he tells us two really detailed things about school, we can stop at 7-11 and get a snack when he gets picked up. Bribery at its best, but we really learn about him. Back to the pride. So Friday when I picked him up, he told me that he got chased on the playground. By girls. *giggle* He casually mentioned that it happens all the time. Of course, he ruined my moment when the next story was about how he charged Andy $1.00 for some artwork he made on Andy's pencil. (at Andy's request) We agreed that perhaps a quarter was a more fair market price for that service.

What a great little entrepeneur you have there - he'll go a long way LOL. The big scrap event sounds fabulous - I wish we had big events like this down under!!

I think we share similar sentiments about the weekend. I got a lot done too. And I slept in until 9:30am and would have slept longer if my phone didn't ring. I did sneak in a 2 hour nap later in the day.

Yep, that Amy is one lucky gal. I'm looking forward to February!
