A White Easter

I have been wishing for some snow all Winter. I think the operative word there is WINTER. Not in a million years would I have thought I would get my wish on Easter weekend - in the SPRING! What a crazy climate this year, for sure. We woke up to snow in Pennsylvania on Saturday morning and wasted little time getting bundled and off to a nice big hill.

And just in case you thought rednecks were not smart - think again. Here is a picture of my brother Mike hauling everyone UP the hill on the four wheeler. What were we thinking when we were kids - all that walking up the hills with our sleds??

The rest of the weekend was just as fun.

After dying eggs, we used the leftover dye on our Easter Dog, Murphy. Isn't he the cutest thing ever? Please believe me that he was NOT harmed in ANY way :) He is probably loving the extra attention.

Not to be outranked in the cuteness scale, Jake Killer had to have a picture in his new hoodie. A little more bling, a spiked collar, and we'll see his mugshot on the 6:00 news for robbing a bank for their puppy biscuits. (Louise is trying desperately to keep him on the straight and narrow.)

What would Easter on a farm be without a new baby lamb? Isn't this scene adorable?

I hope you had as wonderful an Easter as ours! And please - if you dyed a dog, please show pictures!

Killer has been pretty low key since we took the hoodie off. He needs to not rely on it so much for his identity - we'll put it back on so he can act all tough again though.

Murphy is still a riot. He slept on his back last night - was odd looking as his belly is still white!

Too much fun this weekend!

Looks like a fabulous time. I am afraid I may be forced to turn you into the authorities for your dog dyeing antics (unless you would like to bribe me with the patterned paper to keep my mouth shut).
