Bye Bye Tumor

I am home to shower and wanted to give an update. The tumor was removed Monday and it is now at the pathologist. They still feel it is benign and that they got it all.

He is healing now, but looks pretty bad with swelling. He has a headache (not surprising, right?) and hates medicine so that is now our big challenge. They just took his IV out, he is going to get up and move around today and we may be going home tomorrow. Isn't that just amazing? I mean, it was BRAIN surgery!!!!

I'll be posting a bunch of thank yous when I get home. For now I want to thank everyone for their prayers and wishes. There really is healing power in faith and knowing that God would take care of my baby.

Obivously Jacob is a strong young man !! This is fantastic news. Having a mom who cares for you like only a mother would certainly helps to a quick road to recovery.

Jennifer-- read about what was going on with Jacob. . . .eek! I know that must've taken you quite by surprise. I'm so glad his surgery went well. And wow! I can't believe that they might release him that quickly! Prayers being said that it is in fact benign.
