American Radio Challenge

Is anyone out there planning to scrapbook this weekend? I am. Maggie and I have decided to play tomorrow because I have to wait for the garage door repairman.

I was listening to a new song and thinking about how music and memories are so entwined. This is the song. Anyway, I was thinking what a great little mini album I could make using this an inspiration. So I am going to start that little album tomorrow.

And here is my challenge. Use this music inspiration to create a layout, card or little album. E-mail or post a link in comments to what you do and I will put your name in for a prize drawing for some Scenic Route goodies. Post by August 24!

The first time I kissed Julie Ann in a Chevy Van
It was my old mans, it was George Straits baby blues.
And when she moved back to San Jose,
it was Missing You and Purple Rain
That I leaned on to get me through.
Its been the soundtrack to my life since
I remember My memories are all in stereo.
American radio, keeps me singing along,
living my life to the words of the songs
Of lovers, dreamers and hopeless believers, like me.
No matter where I go I can always find an
old friend somewhere there all the time
To sing me right back home on American radio

I really wish I had pictures of me in my ditto jeans, cherokee wedge shoes and LA Gear high tops...they would all be perfect for this song!

But I DO have some great 80's hair pics....
