Is it April?

I went to see Bryan Adams in an acoustic show at the Warner Theater last week. The man is still amazing - not to mention very funny! I loved hearing his old stuff again and hearing new stuff, especially the song Never Let Go that he did for the U.S. Coast Guard. I immediately started thinking about how it could be used at my conference for work. There are a zillion videos on You tube that feature it - here is just one.

I also went to Pennsylvania and would like to self nominate for Mother of the Year. Why am I deserving of this honor? I let Jacob bring his best buddy with him - his friend Quinn (who we all happen to adore.) One ten year old boy can be amusing and mischevious. There are no words to describe what two of them can be when mixed with the country life. Here is an example:

Quinn: Ew, it's a dead mouse.
Jacob: Coooool!!!!
Quinn: (picking up the unfortunate rodent) Do you want to see Elmer?
Me: I think I will pass.
Quinn: Do you have a knife?

Is it any wonder that I needed this? (photo by Jacob, good ad for responsible drinking?)
