This weekend was the Great American Scrapbook Convention in Virginia, and I almost didn't go! Maggie and I made a deal to help curb each other's spending and each went armed with the cash we were willing to spend. I even left my credit card at home! This is what I bought. Look closely and you will see the lens Maggie bought for me. Hey, our deal did not include refraining from spending the other person's money!
Lots of great paper from Luxe Designs and Rusty Pickle. That album will say ASMC (not scam) for work photos. A super cute album kit from the Button Farm. And that tree on the left is a little mini album, but I am not sure who makes it.
And here is a shot of my unwilling subjects with the new lens. I am not loving it and may go to Penn Camera to look at some other options. It is not as smooth as I would like it to be, like my other lenses. Will report later as to what I decide, but would appreciate any feedback you might have on your own 18-200 lenses, and above!

Hey Jennifer - I also picked up a kit from the Button Farm - they were all so cute!
I'm dying to get my hands on a vibration compensation lens. My two kids have me going so fast that my entire life is a blur. What made you go macro?
Glad you had fun at GASC!!! Love your take on spending money. I'm gonna have to remember that. Try the Nikkor lens. I think it's about the same price.
ohhh look at all your goodies. I love the photo you took with your new lens!!
I'm such a great friend!!!
I think the last time I did GASC here may have been the year you were here for it. tehehe . . .I miss it, but it just doesn't fall at a good time for me!
Loving the goodies. And green with envy over the lens. I've been eying that one for quite a while. Why don't you like it? may give me a reason to stop eying it!
I miss going to GASC! Too much going on here, looks like you still had alot of fun. waiting for you to come to the beach!!
No help with the lens issue...but your subjects are cool, dude.
