Because of You

Did you catch Reba McEntire and Kelly Clarkson recently on the ACM awards, singing "Because of You?" I didn't see it, but WMZQ has been playing it frequently, and I have to say I don't mind one bit. (usually, I hate too much air time for a song.) It is an amazing song - I just can't believe I never heard Kelly Clarkson's single version of it, which is now playing on my sidebar. See, I can completely relate to it. To a child who sees more than a child should, to a child who becomes the woman she is because of her mother's addictions and relationships. I love the ending of her video. It shows that we can all learn and grow from our experiences, and not let history repeat itself.

I did a layout a few years ago about this subject and it remains one of my very favorites. I know it may be hard to read my journaling, but if you go to Scrapjazz, you can read the whole thing.
If you want to see the Reba and Kelly version of the song, check it out on YouTube.
