Football DOES make Sense

This joke goes out to my sister in law Louise. (love ya!)

A guy took his blonde girlfriend to her first football game.
They had great seats right behind their team's bench.
After the game, he asked her how she liked the experience.
"Oh, I really liked it," she replied, "especially the tight pants and all the big muscles, but I just couldn't understand why they were killing each other over 25 cents."
Dumbfounded, her date asked, "What do you mean?"
"Well, they flipped a coin, one team got it and then for the rest of the game, all they kept screaming was: 'Get the quarterback! Get the quarterback!'
I'm like...Helloooooo? It's only 25 cents!"

Heh heh. Nothing like a a good joke to get ready for Monday Night Football.

I had a full weekend, but not so full that I didn't have time for shopping at Target. I got some cute ribbon in the dollar spot, some Making Memories Halloween embellishments, and a terrific pack of Foofala paper. And the biggest find was a Wii for Jacob's Christmas present. It is the first time I have ever seen them in stock, so I scooped one up fast before it disappeared before my eyes. I am taking recommendations on favorite games.

I also visited Paper Source on Friday on my lunch hour. (aren't I lucky to be able to do that?)Their stamps are so irristisible. These are the few I didn't resist.
Flying Bat ; Owl (which you can see on the tag below) ; Leaves

I made little goodie bags of Paper Source stuff for my local scrapbook book club on Saturday and I have a few left over. So, here is what we shall do. Post a link to one of your favorite rubber stamps in the comments, and your name will be in the Friday drawing for one of the goodie bags. (they have scalloped cards inside)

Sorry for the bodyless fingers. Jacob did NOT want to be in the picture (and he likes to look gruesome)

LOVE the dancing monkeys for kids pages. they are so cute with a little colored brown pencil on a banana yellow background, plus they make cute stamps for kid's birthday cards.

See what happens when you go away on holidays for a few days - I missed out on all the fun LOL. That little owl is so cute :) I'll be boring because my favourite stamps are my journaling stamps - yes I'm just discovering the world of stamping (could be an expensive excercise LOL).

I did just buy a cute little set of Hero Arts ones at the Stitches & Craft show which I just tried out whilst I was away :)

Oooh love that blonde joke too LOL
