A Little About Character

I have many serious character flaws. Seriously, I do.
I take on too much.
Which leads to procrastination and forgetfulness.
Especially if it means I have to go to the post office.

Just ask Ramona about the pillows, and Libby about the Nora books. Apparently, they all like to ride around in boxes in my car. Just ask Andrea at Scrapjazz who never gets articles from me on time anymore.

So, I am going to play some serious catchup this week.

First, Carol was so sweet and nominated me for a Nice Matters award. I can't tell you what a nice surprise that was, especially because being nice to people means alot to me. I was supposed to pass along to honor and so I will now:

To Paula, who always leaves the nicest comments and sends me REAL mail. She is amazingly talented, and so generous in sharing that talent. To Libby, another talented artist, who is forever giving me and everyone else little tutorials in Photoshop. To Chris, my neighbor and another talented paper artist. She is forever loaning me stamps and inks, and takes my kid from time to time to play with hers. Thanks to you all for making life nicer!

Second, I owe a reward to someone who posted an old photo of themselves in school. I enjoyed laughing seeing them! So, I asked Jacob to pick a name out of the proverbial hat, and he chose Korie. Thanks to all that played - here and at Scrapjazz. I'll get something in the mail to you, Korie. You didn't read that first paragraph did you?

Let's see, I'll wrap this long winded post up with a teaser, which really proves I am not nice. These are for upcoming Scrapjazz articles and demonstrate my latest obsession with scallops!

Your character flaws are YOU, you wouldn't be who you are without them. Friends accecpt you warts and all :) Thanks - you are so sweet and I love sending "real" mail LOL - it's nice to get something in your letter box other than bills sometimes :)

Wow. It looks like I missed a lot here. But you definitely deserve the nice award. Few people do more for other than you. Do you get a crown for that? :)

Me? Nice? Are you sure you have the right neighbor??? Wow, what an honor! Guess I have to start living up to my niceness! I just consider it being a friend!

Thanks for the nomination! I'm honored!
