Music, writing, and more cards

One of my very favorite parts of Christmas is the music... and so I have spent the last few nights updating my iPod with a Holiday playlist. It is obvious that I have very eclectic taste, since the list includes everyone from Perry Como to Barenaked Ladies, from the Chipmunks to Harry Connick Jr. Here are a few I have added, in additional to alot of the old classics I already had:

Cry Out to Jesus (Third Day)
Mr. Heat Miser
12 Days of Christmas (Bob and Doug MacKenzie)
Santa Baby (Eartha Kitt)
Feliz Navidad (Jose Feliciano)
Happy Christmas/The War is Over (The Fray)
Santa Claus is Coming to Town (Bruce Springsteen)
Carol of the Bells ( a free song on iTunes today)
Silver Bells (Bing Crosby)
Snoopy's Christmas
Same Old Lang Syne (Dan Fogelberg)
The Gift (Jim Brickman)
It Could Happen Again (Collin Raye)
The Chipmunk Song
You're a Mean One, Mr. Grinch
Just for You and Me (Billy Dean)
Mary, Did You Know (Kenny Rogers and Wynonna Judd)
God Rest Ye Merry Gentleman (Barenaked Ladies with Sarah McLachlan)
Hard Candy Christmas (Dolly Parton)
Blue Christmas (Elvis Presley)
Where are you Christmas? (Faith Hill)
Mary's Little Boy Child (Harry Connick Jr.)
Little Drummer Boy (Bob Seger)
Go Tell it on the Mountain (Clay Walker)
Six Tons of Toys (Paul Brandt)
It Wasn't His Child (Tricia Yearwood)
Please Come home for Christmas (The Eagles)
Baby, It's Cold Outside (Jessica Simpson and Nick Lachey)
This Christmas (Ashley Tisdale)
Deck the Halls (SHeDaisy)
Christmas/Sarajevo (Trans-Siberian Orchestra)
Have Yourself a Merry Christmas (Celtic Women)
I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus (John Mellencamp)

My three favorite contemporary artist CDs - Jewel, Sarah McLachlan and John Berry - are in my car for commuting entertainment. One of our local radio stations (Wash FM 97.1) plays holiday music all day between Thanksgiving and Christmas. And of course, at home I have on the XM holiday stations. If you have a favorite song... let me know!

Let's see - in other news - my article review on Big Picture Scrapbooking is up at Scrapjazz - go check it out!

And here are two more cards I did since I had out off of these papers and stamps. Why is it that when I try to clean up scraps by making cards, that I end up making more of a mess?
