My Dog(s)

Sure, you look at this picture and see one dog and one cat.

Don't tell Echo - he thinks he is a dog! The problem is that Beau knows he is a cat and wants nothing to do with him. I caught this very rare moment where they were asleep almost together.



Like most pets, they are quirky.

Beau has smoker's cough. After spending $2,000 in vet bills and no solution, I have decided that he gets together with the neighborhood dogs while we are at work and lights up a pack of Camels. The only way we can get rid of the cough is to have him on steroids. He is also a counter and trash can surfer. Yesterday, he took a brand new jar of peanut butter off the counter (which Jacob had left open) and consumed it as far as his tongue could lick. The milk is gone, so I assume he opened the fridge and washed it down.

Echo is a loudmouth, which is sometimes usually almost always annoying. I love having a cat that talks to me, but not at six thirty in the morning on top of my face. And last week he decided to sit on the window ledge, used my face as a bridge, and slipped. I had scratches two inches long in the shape of a "y." As in tell me Y I don't kill this cat?
