"work" friends

I am fortunate to have worked with some amazingly fun people over the years. Normally, we don't get together as a group more than once a year - at our annual conference. Last week, we got together at an ASMC sixtieth anniversary celebration here in the DC area. This dinner (the planning and recovery) is the primary reason I have been absent from my online life. When I get together with these people, I don't think I could laugh more.
* Jennifer, left, is always willing to lend a hand to help, especially with all the audio visual.
* Michelle, second from the left, has an amazing voice - and sang the National Anthem for us.
* Jack, who is Michelle's husband, is so supportive and helpful.
* Sunshine, pictured below in the black jacket, is our official photographer and the most beautiful Marine I know (inside and out.)
There were other terrific and talented people that helped out that are not in my pictures. Still, this event would not have been the success it was without my friends. I also don't think I would have remained sane through this without them. Thanks, friends! (Jeff - if you are reading this - we MISSED you!!!!!)

I have to explain the rear view picture. We were taking "prom" shots to test the lighting in a pretty dark area. After a zillion front shots, they all turned around to give me an alternate view. I almost peed my pants I was laughing so hard. I am SURE they appreciate this photo being posted for all the world to see.

ps: If the venue ever notices how the fixture seems a little different, I know nothing.

First...what is ASMC? Second....that butt picture is priceless. Had I been there you would have needed the wide-angle lens.
